Basic Information
Established in 1975, the Company formerly known as World Tropical Food Co., Ltd. (W. T. F. ) started out as a producer of salted ginger and exported mainly to Japan as semi-products.In 1980, the Company began to produce pickled ginger of its own and offered different kinds of pickled ginger including sliced pickled ginger (Amazu Shoga), Benni Sengiri Shoga, and Mijingiri Shoga.In 1993, the Company began to expand its product line to include pickled eggplants (Asazuke Nasu), pickled cucumber (Asazuke Kiuri), pickled white melon (Asazuke Hagura Uri) and pickled green onion (Asazuke Negi).In 1998, the Company began to market its products under its own brand of "MORI. "In 2005, the Company changed its name from World Tropical Food to World Natural Food as the previous name no longer reflected all the products that the Company markets. Today, the Company offers a wide range of products and exports to many countries around the world such as Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, UK, France and USA.THE COMPANY' VISIONThe Company's vision is to become the most market- and customer-focused company in the food industry.To achieve this goal, on the production side, the Company plans to continuously improve its production process to ensure that our vegetables are pickled in the most effective and hygienic manner. In addition, we plan to continue working closely with and educating the farmers whom we buy our vegetables from to ensure that all the vegetables we purchase are grown in the most appropriate and environmentally friendly manner.On the marketing side, the Company always recognizes the differences in the customers' tastes in different markets around the world, therefore, we plan to continue working closely with our customers in order to adjust and come up with the tastes of pickled vegetables that are specific to each market as we expand into international markets.
